I was glad to discover your blog but unfor...Hello,

I was glad to discover your blog but unfortunately I do not understand Portuguese. But the question that I wanted to ask you was your opinion and conclusions about the continuing effect (if any) of the Indonesian language in Timor-Leste. I know that a lot of Indonesian television is broadcast into Timor-Leste and is widely watched. I also see that some law and justice NGO's also still use Indonesian and the Socialist Party of Timor-Leste also uses a lot of Indonesian language in its posts. The other interesting thing that I have noted is that there are many more signs and advertising in East Timor that are in English and I would also be interested to know your views on the influence of English in the country as well.

Very best regards,

Warren L.
